China Electronics Fair (CEF)
Dated back to 1964, China Electronics Fair is the most authoritative, the largest, the most complete and influential electronics fair in China. It has witnessed the development of China¡¯s electronics industry and the transition from the planed economy to the market economy, acknowledged as the flag reflecting the development of China¡¯s electronics industry.
CEF objectively finished the national strategic layout in 2007, forming up the situation of three stops of Shenzhen-West China-Shanghai in spring, summer and autumn respectively, covering three most influential areas of electronic industry in China: Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and mid-west of China.
With the globalization of electronics industry and mainland China¡¯s becoming the manufacturing base of global consumer electronics and information technology products, in 2004, the first Asian Electronics Exhibition in Shanghai (AEES) had been successfully organized by Asian Electronics Exhibition Cooperation Conference (AEECC) together with CEF in Shanghai, representing the grandest combination in circle of Asian electronics exhibition. CEF is one of the five members of AEECC along with CEATEC Japan, KES, Taitronics and HK Electronics Fair.
