China Mobile Phone Manufacturing Technology Seminar 2004 was held successfully on 13-14 Oct. 2004 in Shenzhen Pavilion Hotel, as one of the professional activities at China Hi-Tech Fair 2004. It was organized by China Institute of Communications--Communication Equipment Manufacturing Society and Shenzhen Creativity Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd.
The world-leading production technology providers including Panasonic, Universal Instruments, JT, Assembl¨¦on, Siemens, Rohde & Schwarz, 3M etc. presented their latest mobile phone manufacturing technologies at the seminar. The content includes SMT, assembly, lead-free soldering, test and measurement technologies applied in the mobile phone manufacturing.
The seminar attracted extensive attentions all over the industry. More than 280 attendees including officials from Development Center of State Council of China, China Communication Academy, senior managers, technical engineers from Putian, TCL, Kejian, Haier, Hisense, Konka, Sangfei, Soutec, Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo, Bird, Captel, Langchao, CECT and especially over 60 VIP attendees from those manufacturers, i.e. presidents, VP, Chief engineers.
In 2005, under the situation of much more competition in the local handsets market, the mobile phone manufacturers will making every effort to optimize the supply chain, and improve the production level. To implement the promise to WTO, China government will open the mobile phone production business completely to the world. The license of mobile phone manufacturers has been changed from the way of examination by government to approve, and Huawei, Skyworth, Gionee, Changhong, Aux and more manufacturers will enter the field of mobile phone production. Additionlly, with 3G market coming, mobile phone manufacturers will meet more challenges as well as opportunities.
China Mobile Phone Manufacturing Technology Forum 2005 (CMMF) will be held on 13 -14 Oct, 2005, as an essential activity at the CHTF2005 - Elexcon. The organizers will invite senior managers, directors, and technical engineers from mobile phone manufacturers in China, to discuss with production solution suppliers including Panasonic, Siemens, Universal, Assembleon, American Tech, Omron, 3M, Henkel, Sony , about the mobile phone manufacture development tendency, and the key technologies applied in the mobile phone production.
