In China, deliberations on has been completed recently. Ministry of Information Industry already completed necessary internal procedures and is in the process of signing with other ministries. Meanwhile, regulations-requiring pollution prevention and clean up have already been developed and criteria established. It is definite that six hazardous substances called out in the China RoHS are prohibited in electronics & information products. Chinese electronics manufacturers cannot avoid this worldwide trend; therefore, great interest and attention will be paid on relevant lead-free technologies & criteria.
